Welcomes members and guests at meetings. Previously an art teacher in the Lawrence-Cedarhurst public schools, for 30 years, Marcia is now teaching people how to be healthy and financially independent. A Nikken Independent Certified Wellness Home Consultant, she is part of a team that is pioneering the introduction of unusual, high impact product technologies that simplify managing one's well-being (sleep, environment, nutrition and fitness). She empowers people to take better care of themselves and their families by creating "Wellness Homes". Marcia mentors those who want to create wealth as well, partnering with them in building distribution networks for Nikken, both locally and internationally. Gayle currently runs workshops at York College to teach marketing skills and networking knowledge. Tamara is Owner of TaraWare LLC, a Web Application Development company based in Suffolk County. TaraWare specializes in customized, data-driven online applications using such technologies as ASP.Net, C#/VB.Net, MS SQL Server, PHP, MySQL, Flash, CSS, XML, AJAX, Photoshop and more. Tamara is an avid reader of science fiction and is the lead singer/lyricist in her own rock band. Founding Board Members Founder/Past Executive Director Robin Gorman Newman 516.773.0911, robin@lovecoach.com Chief administrator of IBWC, responsible for maintaining the principles the group was founded on. Forms strategic alliances with local media, businesses, and professional groups. Oversees Board-sanctioned progressions. Robin wears many hats. As an author, her first book "How to Meet a Mensch in New York" has sold thousands, and she has been a TV guest on The Today Show, Good Day New York, Live at Five, and CNN, among others. She has been featured in national newspapers, magazines, and on radio shows worldwide as a relationship expert. She is also the Love Coach (www.lovecoach.com), where she offers private consults to singles, helping them lead active social lives. She lectures extensively on relationships, and has since written a second book, “How to Marry a Mensch” (published January 2006). Additionally, Robin holds an MBA in Marketing and is a seasoned publicist with her own Great Neck - based public relations practice - RGN Communications. She represents clients in a wide array of industries, and was previously a Vice President with a New York PR firm. She is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors. Community Outreach Director Sue Glenn - 800.815.8346 sueglenn1@optonline.net Sue is an IBWC Founding Board Member and was IBWC Communications Director from 4/00 - 4/05. Since 4/05 she has adopted the role of Advisory Board Member. Although she is a full-time Mom of a toddler, she juggles the role of an Independent Distributor for NuSkin Enterprises. She consults and advises health and beauty conscious individuals on how to look and feel their best, preparing customized skincare and supplement regimens, using the latest technologies and products available. Along with her husband Joe, she also runs JS Computer Consultants, offering computer networking services, sales, installation and troubleshooting. They are active members of the Great Neck Chamber of Commerce. |
