Laura is a Vice President of Citibank, NA in the Commercial Banking Group, working in the Cash Management Services area. She is a Certified Treasury Professional, with a CTP designation from The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). Laura has been in the banking industry for over 20 years, 15 at Citibank. Prior to rejoining Citibank in April, 2005, Laura was working on the Small Business team at Bank of NY. Laura has also worked on the Small Business team and Women Entrepreneurs' Connection team at Fleet Bank, which is now Bank of America.

Acts as first contact person for questions on meetings, seminars and membership. Compiles press kits and flyers. Plans monthly programs. Karen is owner/director of E. Northport - based ActResume, Inc., providing resumes/cover letters/ job searches, and MINYA Concepts, specializing in public relations and copywriting for small businesses and non-profit organizations. She is a member of the Public Relations Professionals of LI.

Responsible for compiling membership directory and keeping it up to date. Welcomes members and guests at meetings. Previously an art teacher in the Lawrence-Cedarhurst public schools, for 30 years, Marcia is now teaching people how to be healthy and financially independent. A Nikken Independent Certified Wellness Home Consultant, she is part of a team that is pioneering the introduction of unusual, high impact product technologies that simplify managing one's well-being (sleep, environment, nutrition and fitness). She empowers people to take better care of themselves and their families by creating "Wellness Homes". Marcia mentors those who want to create wealth as well, partnering with them in building distribution networks for Nikken, both locally and internationally. At her home in Long Beach complimentary Wellness Previews for small groups are conducted weekly, and Certified Wellness Home Tours by individual appointment. Gayle is the founder of president of access.office, a Garden City-based company that provides businesses with "virtual" assistance in the form of office and administrative support, professional marketing services, public relations and essential business services. She holds a BS in Marketing and has worked in international pharmaceutical, ophthalmologic, and franchise sales for several years, as well as in convention planning. Gayle currently runs workshops at York College to teach marketing skills and networking knowledge. Handles hospitality arrangements for on-site meetings. Accepts email reservations. Helps plan special events outside of monthly midday meetings. Stella is the founder of Home Legend, a buyer liaison service for home furnishings and décor items, and Zen Appétit, an Asian event planning service for private parties and businesses, as well as a choreographer of modern and Chinese folk dance. She is an active Board Member of the Taiwanese-American Association on LI and heads the Suffolk County Asian-American Advisory Board.

Tamara is responsible for researching, implementing, and maintaining new internet-based technologies for IBWC. Tamara is Owner of TaraWare LLC, a Web Application Development company based in Suffolk County. TaraWare specializes in customized, data-driven online applications using such technologies as ASP.Net, C#/VB.Net, MS SQL Server, PHP, MySQL, Flash, CSS, XML, AJAX, Photoshop and more. Tamara is an avid reader of science fiction and is the lead singer/lyricist in her own rock band.

Chief administrator of IBWC, responsible for maintaining the principles the group was founded on. Forms strategic alliances with local media, businesses, and professional groups. Oversees Board-sanctioned progressions. Robin wears many hats. As an author, her first book "How to Meet a Mensch in New York" has sold thousands, and she has been a TV guest on The Today Show, Good Day New York, Live at Five, and CNN, among others. She has been featured in national newspapers, magazines, and on radio shows worldwide as a relationship expert. She is also the Love Coach (www.lovecoach.com), where she offers private consults to singles, helping them lead active social lives. She lectures extensively on relationships, and has since written a second book, “How to Marry a Mensch” (published January 2006). Additionally, Robin holds an MBA in Marketing and is a seasoned publicist with her own Great Neck - based public relations practice - RGN Communications. She represents clients in a wide array of industries, and was previously a Vice President with a New York PR firm. She is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors.

Sue is an IBWC Founding Board Member and was IBWC Communications Director from 4/00 - 4/05. Since 4/05 she has adopted the role of Advisory Board Member. Although she is a full-time Mom of a toddler, she juggles the role of an Independent Distributor for NuSkin Enterprises. She consults and advises health and beauty conscious individuals on how to look and feel their best, preparing customized skincare and supplement regimens, using the latest technologies and products available. Along with her husband Joe, she also runs JS Computer Consultants, offering computer networking services, sales, installation and troubleshooting. They are active members of the Great Neck Chamber of Commerce.
